This guy has to be one of the top wrestlers on this site as far as I'm concerned. Lovely, sociable chap, but what a demon on the mats! I didn't really stand a chance against his relentless attacks. I managed 1 sub (or did I dream it) but lost track of the number of times he had me tapping out. He knows what he's doing and is totally safe. I really appreciated his advice and tips. Take him on, if you dare!

I met Zürich at a small group meet at Walthamstow. First off, don't be deceived by this guy's warm smile. On the mats he is determined, and used his weight advantage and knowledge of BJJ moves to great effect. We had a couple of bouts mixing up matches with the other two guys present. Unbelieveably he continued wrestling despite suffering an injury to his thumb in the very first match. Zürich is a great guy to chat with and is well travelled. I really enjoyed wrestling him and hope we can meet up again.

Woof! If you like fit, hairy, tough, sexy grapplers, this guy is your man! When I first contacted him for a match, he replied immediately, and it could not have been easier to set up the date and time for the match. On the mats he's tough and skilled (and he brings his own mats!), but safe sane and friendly at the same time. Off the mats he's an interesting, articulate, warm and fuzzy guy with a great perspective on life and a good sense of humor – I agree that I could have spent a whole day hanging out and talking with him. All in all, a top quality guy whom I DEFINITELY recommend!

Enjoyed two sessions with Big Ape in his matroom. A lively old fellow with a great sense of humour and a fur coat to die for. He's a vigorous wrestler too and an exceedingly kind host who arranged my visit to suit me despite being at work that day. Looking forward to another match!

Hi hatte heute ein wunderbares Boxsparring mit Boxingmarco. Boxingmarco ist ein guter Boxer der viel aushaltet und mit dem Mann sich super austoben kann.

Außerhalb des Rings ist er ein lieber Gesprächspartner mit dem mann viel Spaß haben kann.

J is a very enthusiastic, reliable wrestler. He was able to take plenty of punishment as a jobber couple of years ago when i met him. However he is now much stronger and is already making great progress as a heel. He has been working on dum bells has bigger chest and arms. He will now make a GREAT HEEL ! He can wrestle for a long time, has much more experience than his profile shows as he has new profile.
When I met him in December he was very much stronger, more of a heel and have no hesitation in recommending a meet with him !

Jay is an amazing fighter, very strong, physically and technically prepared and trained to grapple.
He completely destroyed me locking me in several holds, where I couldn’t find my way out, but just taking the pain and submit, eventually.
Beware of his legs, his scissors are tremendously deadly.
jay is a very nice guy, a great host, very much respectful and able to adjust to his opponent limits, always playing safe, and even providing some suggestions and tricks.
Oh by the way, he is also super cute and sexy!
An overall great experience which I wish to repeat soon and hopefully always learning a few more tricks.

When I received the challenge from the legend DenverWrestler, I knew I needed to clear my schedule and make time for him. I am glad I did!! Lots of fun on the mats, good give and take and just a great time. Off the mats I could have spent the whole day just taking about experiences, and life. LOVELY PERSON!!! Thanks for a great time DW, I see why you've reached where you are in this journey.

We’ve been chatting for years, and I have observed his transformation from an aggressive newbie to a committed grappler. It’s nice to see his evolution, embracing the good values of combat sports. Solidman has definitely acquired a great submission skill set over the years and doesn’t hold back to use it. Loved the speed and pace he brought to the match. It kept the match interesting at all times, whilst remaining safe. His cheeky grin when he’s in a superior position is just priceless. This guy is absolutely reliable. Not only on the mats, but also when it comes to organise a little event at last minutes notice. Thanks for such a beautiful day, fighting, eating, chatting and organizing my London trip with all the right highlights. You’re a wonderful person. I loved being in your company and can definitely recommend Solidman for a solid wrestling session as much as for a drink or lunch afterwards. Can’t wait for round two.
One advice: Don’t ask to add boxing or kicking to the fight, he punches like a little girl. But hey, nobody is perfect, and that was the only weakness I could find.

Alors que j'étais de passage ce weekend à Paris, sur proposition de Polyethylene33, on s'est improvisé un rendez-vous lutte la veille pour le lendemain. Les grèves RATP ont hélas mis K.O. mes tentatives de ponctualité (1h de retard et 2km de marche nordique avec les valises... Heureusement qu'il y avait l'ascenseur pour monter au 5eme à l'arrivée :) mais en tout cas désolé de ce contretemps)

Son accueil était très sympa et respectueux. Les mousses ont vite été assemblées pour passer à l'action dès nos maillots de lutte endossés. Cet adversaire est légèrement plus petit et bien moins embonpointé que moi, pour autant son corps musclé par la lutte en club annonce bien la couleur : je n'ai aucune chance.

En 5 manches qui m'ont semblé très intenses, Polyethylene33 m'a fait la démonstration de sa haute maîtrise des techniques de lutte au sol, clairement orientée domination. Je me suis retrouvé soumis progressivement, sans douleur, mais avec une perte de contrôle, comme un étau se resserrant doucement. Les rares fois où j'ai pensé pouvoir retourner la situation, je me suis épuisé à basculer pour mieux me retrouver coincé sans énergie par ce briant adversaire. Il excelle clairement dans l'art de vider ses proies de leur force, et arrive toujours à ses fins.

Avec du recul, j'ai vraiment aimé ce type de combat face à une force tranquille, dont la confiance en soi permet d'appliquer la lutte sans heurt gratuit ou énervement inutile.

Bref, une très belle expérience et une bien belle rencontre grâce à Meetfighters. Un grand merci pour cette session !
