Was this a record?

I e-mailed a guy, Tom, this afternoon: he'd signed on to MF just four hours earlier.

We had a great chat - maybe 50 quick messages - and were ready to arrange a meeting. He even sent photos!

And then he disappeared.

I noticed that a friend of mine had also "favourited" him. I contacted my friend - who had even got as far as actually arranging a meeting ... before "Tom" just ... disappeared.

It's mystifying.

But maybe "Tom" will see this: maybe with a new profile name? Indeed, my friend (see above) had a feeling that the same person had set up a very similar profile a while back ... but again disappeared into the wrestling ether ...

Sad ... and disappointing.

Edward

Strange!
But to be honest: This is one reason I don't take "meetfighters" for very serious.

No . . . It's not a record.
I've seen someone join . . . Sent them a message . . . And then they've deleted their account . . . All within an hour ! ! !
Why does this happen ?
I have no idea.
I can appreciate that some people are nervous about joining such a "taboo" site.
Maybe the first message they received was confronting/nasty and they got scared.
Which is why we should all treat newcomers with kidd gloves . . . Well . . . Until you rassle them, of course ! 😁
