Hotel Matches.
With GP closed, I am finding it more difficult to arrange bouts as my working arrangements are unsociable. I am considering hotels as an alternative to mat rooms and ring venues as they are closer to home. I have never taken part in a bout in a hotel. Guys please offer your opinions, views and reviews for venues, best practice and safety please.

2022-11-29 오후 1:11I’d say it’s best to check the person out first to make sure they are into the same style and agree the rules n gear etc. Obviously a double bed helps. Important to know enough about the person. Hotel nouts can be horny if more on the erotic side bit there isnt always the space for a pro bout. Also helps if the room is big enough and that you won’t get disturbed by neighbours etc. it’s a shame there aren’t so many ring and mat options. Hotels can be reasonable if booked on advance etc but that some times involves little time for change if there is a delay or a no show.

2022-11-29 오후 5:02Personally I don’t like hotel matches, unless there’s no other possible option.
Looking at where you are based, I did have a match at Travelodge in Brighton (the old Amex building) was lucky enough to get a corner room that had a lounge area attached - giving enough room for a match and no direct neighbours to bother.
Have also used a hotel in Berkshire where reception staff used a pass-key to interrupt us as there were reports “someone was being beaten up next door”.
Thankfully we were attired but asked to leave - so hotel matches aren’t without risk.
There is - as Ironbull said - Walthamstow and also Barnet - not exactly close to you but safe.
I’ve also heard there is a matroom facility owned by a member in Sussex but I don’t know the details.

2022-11-29 오후 6:05Personally I'd avoid hotels, rooms are usually paper thin, there are other guests and as previous comments have stated, you may get a knock on the door, enquiring about the noise !
There is a new venue (basic but private in Poole), as well as the mat-room in Barnet and ring in Walthamstow, again as already mentioned.
If you are ever in the North West, head to Pippa's place (The Wrestling Factory) over in Monsall area (East Manchester). Best venue (in my opinion) in the country, a proper ring, multiple matted rooms too.

I have not heard of the venue in Poole. Is it advertised anywhere ?

2022-12-02 오전 11:45I tried a hotel match once. It was all going well until we fell into the wall which collapsed. The lady and gent in the adjoining room were very understanding when two oiled naked heavyweights landed at the foot of their bed. The hotel manager less so.

2022-12-04 오전 11:04I've had several hotel sessions.... all successful without any issues. Just need to try keeping noise down... so keeping the grunting and punching quiet can be tricky and not being able to "let loose" was frustrating.... but it was doable!!
Saunas can be good... private booths... or in public areas of you like an audience ...
There's a great place in Birmingham... Greens summat .... loads of areas to fight and a dungeon in basement too .... a guy was restrained and had a dozen guys around him pawing him, punching him, etc etc etc you get the picture ... 😂
I've had outdoor middle of forest sessions as well... daytime and middle of night.... a moonlight gutpunch fight in a forest ... was quite wow. 😊👍🏼

2022-12-14 오후 10:31Hotel matches are best done during the day. Just ask the front desk for a room with vacancies on either side. Tell them you need to practice your bagpipes for an hour before your next gig, or your wife is having a migraine and needs extreme quiet or something.
One time I went to a place with cameras and after the other guy showed up, I got a call from the front desk asking "Is everything ok? Just making sure." That was creepy but no one came to the room.
