Uploading Vids To Meetfighters

Hey, I was wondering how do some of you guys save your vids so that they can be uploaded to Meetfighters. It says the limit is fifteen minutes and I have some matches that don't exceed that time frame, but it still says it's too large. Any thoughts?

In those cases, it might also be the actual file size. There's a limit of 500MB for that (assuming you're using a filetype that's allowed).

Most high quality videos are going to be pretty big even if they are short, so that might be a factor here.

You can also split the files if they are to big or long.

Alternatively, you can use our brother-site WatchFighters.com which we optimized for video hosting.
You can log in to WatchFighters using your MeetFighters account.

You have to get the file down to 500MB before uploading. You can do that by splitting up the file into separate videos that you upload separately. You can also edit the videos. I've been editing mine down to 4 minutes or under, editing out the "lulls" or slow parts. There's an old saying "less is more". Also, you can also get familiar with your editing software. HD level and quality levels can be adjusted and they will tell you what the MB size will be once uploaded. I advise getting some software to aid you in this. If you use Apple products, IMovie is quite helpful, but it takes some getting used to. Best wishes in your endeavors.

lots of options. Truncate them. Split them. or down convert them say to 720p or 480p). You can do this in QuickTime or other simple eating programs.

500 MB is enough for a 15-minute video, even in 1080p. No need to downscale it to 720p/480p. You will need to compress it, tho. Also, 4k is out of question.
