I work my abs very hard both at the gym and at home. I do hanging leg raises usually 2 sets if 50 i do 400 crunches every day and have for years. Occasionally i do 1000 crunches. I am an endorphin dopamine and adrenalin junkie. I like to work my core. Thats abs and back together. I keep my midsection tight. Love the feeling. When u trade punches with my friends. I dont have to tighten up as hard and I can last longer being punched
You could try self gut punching, I have done it a few times. Your best using gloves so as not to bruise and keep your abs tight throughout. I do it for about 20 minutes before my arms get too tired (its a good workout for them too).
You might take a 10 12 or 14 pound gel filled medicine ball and slam it into your abs while you are tight. It will make you very hard. You will see the difference and it will feel good as you harden your abs
So I've been hitting the gym more and more lately (still need to cut wieght and build more muscle, advice on that is welcome), but had a question about conditioning the abs for when I meet up for gp. Is there any effective abs conditioning I can do on my own?
