I first became interested in the sleeperhold through watching TV wrestling when I was 10-12. I loved seeing superheavy guys and guys with big biceps putting other guys to sleep. I couldn't get it off my mind after that , and I had to try it myself. I asked bigger guys I met at gyms or elsewhere to do it to me. I was surprised at first at how much it hurt, but I transformed it in my imagination into something pleasurable and came back again and again. It was hard, though, to find guys to do it with. I finally got into bjj and got all I wanted practice with other guys also into it. I've chatted with guys on MF how they got into it. The most popular reasons seem to be TV wrestling and somebody doing it to them. I'm curious how other guys too got into it.
