If there is one thing I have learned since taking up wrestling it is to respect your elders. Two of my three matches have been against guys that were 33 and 23 years my senior, one of them even had less experience than me. I went into both matches expecting to win them very easily but I ended up being ragdolled and getting a very one sided beatdown in both of them.

Never underestimate your opponent in wrestling and always respect your elders is my advice to you as a novice because if you don't they may just turn around and totally kick your ass for you and make you summit over and over again to them on the mat!
